Alright, onto today's adventure – a blast from the past, the glorious 1990 film "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." This isn't just any movie; it's a timeless classic that I'm thrilled to have watched at the cinema when it first came out. The story behind those days is as long as it gets, but let's just say it was a part of my youthful movie-going experiences thanks to my awesome mom who worked at the theater.

Fast forward to today, I had the chance to relive this masterpiece with my son, Anthony. Watching it again through his eyes brought a whole new perspective. As a kid, I was all about the laughs and the action. But rewatching it, there were these tender, warm moments that pulled at my heartstrings. You know the kind – where you get all invested in the characters and their journey.

Back in the '90s, action-packed movies meant something. They had soul and substance, not just flashy explosions. The pacing was just right, with never a dull moment. The characters like Casey Jones and April O'Neill had their moments in the spotlight, and the buildup to hating Shredder was intense and real.

As I sat there with Anthony, it made me so happy to see him appreciate it just like I did. We had our own discussions on the characters and their development, and he shared how the movie touched him emotionally. Even now, a movie from so long ago still connects with today's kids. It was a perfect ride, one that stands the test of time.

And oh boy, next up is "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze." I'm all in if they keep bringing these classics back to the big screen. Nostalgia, they say, is a helluva drug, and it's true. From the flashes of dialogue to the nostalgic spectacle, this film hit me right in the childhood feels, delivering as much happiness now as it did then.

Speaking of ratings, let's be clear: official scores can take a hike. To me, this movie's a perfect 10, no argument there. It's a stellar cinematic experience that everyone should revisit, especially on the big screen with all its glory.

To capsulate the movie's vibe: radioactive ooze mutates four sewer turtles into the coolest crime-fighting ninjas ever. Trained by their rat sensei, Splinter, these turtles deliver action, fun, and a touch of heart. March 30, 1990, marked its release, and oh, what a glorious mark it left. It spun off into so many beloved cartoons, toys, and endless merchandise. I had so much "Ninja Turtles" everything as a kid, thanks to my mom. Those truly were the days!

I urge everyone to catch this in theaters if they can. It’s a limited run, but trust me, it's an opportunity you don't wanna miss. This movie is the epitome of excitement for every screen – big or small.
